Another Change to Facebook Pages
Just when we were starting to get comfortable with the Timeline layout on our business Pages … yep, there’s already a change.
But it’s not a big one. On April 26 (that’s tomorrow) Facebook is increasing the size of profile pictures on Pages from 125 x 125 to 160 x 160. This graphic from IM Republic shows what that looks like:
The profile pic’s location will also change slightly; the new position will be 210 pixels down from the top and 23 pixels from the left of page.
For most of us, myself included, this change should make no difference in the overall look of our Pages. However, if you have one of those clever layouts that integrates the profile picture with the Cover Photo (like Fanta does, for example), you may have some tweaking in your near future.
As for the reason for the change, well, we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
